Prompt & Ponder: AI Literacy Workshop

This AI Literacy workshop aims at improving practical AI literacy among young people in Yaoundé by strengthening their critical thinking, responsible use habits, and confidence when using AI tools in their academic, creative, and everyday lives.

This workshop responds to a growing gap between how quickly young people are adopting AI tools and how little practical guidance they have received on using those tools critically, safely, and responsibly.

Facilitated by trainer Donatien Tatchou Gerard, the session will combine short, practical teaching on how AI works, how to question AI-generated content, and how to use AI responsibly, with hands-on practice using beginner-friendly AI tools on participants' own devices.

The workshop will take place onSaturday September 19, 2026inYaounde, opposite Biyem-Assi Hospital.
